HOW IT WORKS

Libramed controls the glycemic peaks after meals, regulating the concentration of glucose and insulin in the blood, which becomes more constant, thus lipogenesis (fat accumulation in adipocytes) and the feeling of hunger is reduced.

Libramed action is due to Policaptil Retard Gel®, a patented complex polysaccharide macromolecules that thanks to the synergistic action of its components, has a high gelling power.

In fact the Policaptil conducive to the intestine occurs in a gel which acts on carbohydrates, reducing the amount absorbed and rate of absorption ( "Retard" effect).

Thanks to the properties of this gel, Libramed also reduces fat absorption, decreasing postprandial somnolence, favoring regularizing bowel movement and stool consistency.
